O'So Lupulin Maximus, Different this year?

Drank two out of a four pack from this year and never got any of those flavors you are describing?

 

I had it for the first time this year (bought and tried the week it came out), and I thought the same thing as you Nick. Had a hard time finishing the 4pk to be honest, and I am a fan of other O'so offerings. Glad it wasn't just me.

 

I love very hoppy beers and had a six of this last year, after a couple sips I drain poured it. I hate throwing away beer or pouring down the drain so I just let it sit for 2 or 3 months. I decided to pop one just to see how it was drinking and I thought it was much better and ended up drinking it all over the next couple of days. I doubt I would buy it again, but if I were to buy any Oso, I thought Hop Whoopin was better.

 

I had about 5 drinks from one bottle about a month ago...After that, I returned the other 3 to the store for a refund.

....Guy in the beer department had said they just came in so I gave it a chance, thought the hops in the bottle were a decent novelty. Bad decision.

Perhaps the worst beer I've had this year, well, not sure if it's worse than the Bud Light I had the other night or not.

 

One of the grosser beers I've had. I have also heard O'so isn't the best with batch consistency.

 

I saw this at Whole Foods yesterday and was VERY tempted to buy a pack of it. Now I know I can pass on this. Thanks all.

 

6er of it? I thought they only made it in 4 packs? After hearing all these mixed reviews, that sucks, I only remember it was pretty good last year, havent tried it this year, I guess I'll pass now.

last year my first was drinkable, used the rest to make lawn fertilizer

 

My wife bought it for me last year as a Xmas gift, I thought it was a six pack but I could be wrong. Actually I do think it was a sixer and they switched to a 4 pack this year.

 

last year and this year are four packs. I haven't had it this year.. looks like I'll pass
