Stout BIF Round 2 - Hints

Down to 3 potential senders!

 

Dear target, I apologize for making you wait. I packed up two boxes and was going to ship this past Monday but it just didn't feel right. There is something missing from the boxes. They are good right now but I just feel they can be better. Maybe it's the fact that BevMo hasn't been getting a few of the beers I have been planning on including, who knows. But as of now I plan on finding one or two more gems to put in these boxes. Ship date will be the coming Monday so that the boxes aren't sitting somewhere over the weekend.

 

I'll probably be shipping next Monday or Tuesday...last time I shipped to my target's state, it only took 3 days (hint). I'm still waiting on a local BA stout to be release, but the brewery isn't giving any concrete info yet. If it isn't on shelves by next Monday I'm just gonna ship as-is

Although I'm only able to hit 2 wants, I think (and hope) my target will be happy with his box.

 

My target, by FedEx's account, has received his boxes.

My box is scheduled to land Friday. I think that calls for beer hints.. If you were to name a beer with a Forrest Gump theme you might end up with this.

Enjoy! I went pretty local on this BIF, but then again with Pipeworks we have a lot of good stouts to choose from. That's the new batch of OTA which is supposed to have more orange flavor than the previous ones. I'd give the Deth's Tar a few months, it's pretty boozy right now. Can't say Hey Careful Man is the best milk stout that they have ever done, but it certainly has the best name if you like the movie (which I do).

While I'm glad to read that my target has shipped so I can get his boxes on their way, unfortunately I'm waiting on one last item to come in. I have been anxious to get these out, then realized I'm missing a major component and was all 'frickafrackacaliforniashipping'. Boxes will be on their way as soon as this final piece arrives, which I'm expecting to be by the weekend. I don't have a final tally, but I'm well over the requirement plus hitting 3 of 5 wants, and I'm really excited for him to receive all of it. Cheers!

 

3 boxes are patiently sitting in Keasbey, NJ. Approx 114 miles from Targets home, or exactly 2 hours away. They are scheduled for delivery Thursday.

Damn! Had you as a strong possibility up until I saw the 114 miles. Just TX and FL left on my sender list.

any clues that may tip me off as to when this will land? We are expecting a whopping high of 24 today that feels like 15 w/ wind chill and I'd like to avoid beerscicles if possible.

 

The idea of beer freezing outside is just mind blowing to me. High of 80 today....

Yeah our low has been in the mid 30's here, and everyone is talking about how cold it is haha.

no worries, it's gotten pretty cold the last half of the week so might be for the best. although we are supposedly getting hit with a snowstorm over the later half of the weekend which could cause other delays...coming UPS?
