Has anyone encountered any bottles of BCBBW that were only partially filled? I have one that's filled up to the base of the neck and am wondering if that's common with the barleywine and any of the other bourbon county beers.

I have like a case that's filled up about 1/8th of the way on each Bottle. So...

I agree, lots of them are uneven. That goes for BCBS as well.

Email the brewery, they should be able to supply the information you are after.

This post is over two hours old and nobody has blamed InBev? Wake up!

I haven't opened my two yet but didn't notice anything strange when I put them away.

I just checked and compared my BCBBW, BCBS, and the BCBCS to other similar 12oz bottles. They were all filled to the same height. I am in Raleigh NC, our shipment was released on November 29th.

The BCBS bottles make, by far, the loudest sloshing noises I've encountered when packing them in a box.

You realize that release dates have nothing to do with anything, right? Read the bottling date.

They bottled on multiple dates in all those months :-)

I've had to repackage two boxes and even after changing the wrapping and double boxing them I could still hear it. Both of the boxes made it safely, luckily.

I sent 8 of them in 1 box! Ridiculous! I double-boxed, extra insulation, loose rustling packing peanuts and hardly made a difference.

Put a couple of tic tac containers half full of rice in and theyll cover up any sloshing sounds.

I'll give that a shot if I end up trading any more BCBS, but I really doubt that it will work because it's really THAT loud.

I totally found a mouse inside my BCBBW. I triend to get a case at the brewery but they told me to piss off.

are people really concerned about some sloshing sounds in packages? If i'm really worried about it, i put a recording of a crying baby in the box to mask it.

What about the piss in your Cheerios? I wasn't complaining and it didn't stop me from sending it again. It was a simple observation that it was the loudest noise I've had come from any bottle. Carry on.

Someone who has been shipping for 2 years just mentioned his local FedEx, in Indiana, demanded to open his box because of they heard liquid. He went to a different location 10 miles away that usually never asked what he was shipping and they asked.

Something is going on with FedEx. This is is the first time I heard of content being transferred to "government warehouse": http://beeradvocate.com/community/threads/fedex-shipping-exceptions-concerns-coincidence.135986/ . No info, but I'm guessing confiscation. Usually FedEx returns damaged packages to senders.

Interesting. sounds more like a result of leaky packages than sloshing sounds tho.

i just went through all of my cases of Bourboun County and they all looked to be filled to the proper level.
