Funky Buddha - Maple Bacon Coffee Porter Bottle Release

Let's say I have a friend down there that knows NOTHING about beer...what are the best/clearest instructions I can give him so I can score some of this?

He lives right down the street from the lounge I believe...

 

Federal to NE 38th St, take a right, go until you get to the train tracks, FB is on the right, before the tracks. Look for the ginormous swell of folks drinking!

 

I'm assuming if he's the last dude in line he won't get anything, yeah? I would expect it'll be that type of release.

The question now is how much I can test his patience and retain him as a friend.

 

I would anticipate it selling out for sure, yeah. He will need to get there in the AM.

 

This release is at the brewery, not the lounge. It's about 25 minutes south of the lounge.

Did you get any indication while there how many bottles would be released?

 

Not really, just saw one fermenter full, and another with a mystery beer in it.

False. That bottle is full and surrounded by pretty things. The bottle will look like an empty bottle surrounded by other similar and also empty bottles, a stack of half-eaten pancakes, and a handful of glazed-eyed beer nerds.

I'm likely going to be heading down from Gainesville for this (still not certain though...)

Has anyone started coordinating a bottle share, if so I'd love to bring something to contribute if I can make it down. BM me please...
