Late Night Beer Advocate - Friday

I really like this beer too.

 

I 'mdrinking a Capt. Black IPA made by Ruhstaller in Sacramento. A buddy brought it home for me from a trip visiting family. It's very good.

 

Drinking local from Great South Bay Brewery. Blood Orange Pale Ale and their Hefeweizen. Both good but the Blood Orange is quite something.

Zombie Dust... Nice way to get the weekend rolling.

 

Just got back from a Central Waters tasting where I had my first experience with 1414. Absolutely glorious! I'd put it against any BA stout out there. And one of the CW owners confirmed that the 15th anniversary beer will be the exact same beer just with another 12 months of barrel aging on it. For you math majors out there, that means that beer will have been in the barrel for a total of 26 months!! Can't wait.

Anyway, upon arriving home, decided to give a Cigar City Whited Oaked Jai Alai a try.



Very interesting. It's growing on me with each sip.

 

To celebrate my ban lifting, and to mourn the passing of MCA, I'm having my first Uinta brew. Beautiful brew.

 

Starting the weekend off right with a stone Imperial Russian Stout. Follow that up with some stuff I've received in trades- Clown Shoes Miracle & Terrapin Moo-hoo.

Started of with two cans of Sixpoint Apollo and a Heavy Seas Loose Cannon. Probably gonna tap a pint of some home brewed pale ale.

 

First, a Hamm's Premium, now an Orval. I like the Orval a smidgeon more.

Drinking this stuff tonight. I think it's called water. Haven't had it in a while, it's pretty good! Usually drink it when I'm sick. I actually have it on tap in my kitchen. Send me private messages if you want to set up a time to come and fill a growler or two.
