I'm pretty sure mine was an 07 that I drank last year. Splendiferous was what it was!

I finally stopped by the Harriet taproom, just the third brewery taproom in Minnesota (thanks, Surly!), and only a few blocks from my house. Had a glass of Sol Bock, which was only okay.

Planning on opening a bomber of Lagunitas Doppel Weizen now.

Yeah man, my wife and kids will be going to Japan to visit family this Summer, so I will have a TON of time to hang! Ha ha! I only had 1 bottle of the 10,000 out of my sixer, so I will be able to try that taste changing thing out throughout the year.
Hmmm, didn't really know Midas Touch was a "Fruit/Spice" beer. I have so much to learn...

That's a big bottle, isn't it? I'm bringing a Kabert, which is a small bottle, but I feel I should bring my nip bottle of 1971 Courage IRS too so you and Matt can try it. I've had plenty of them over the years.

I am planning on buying at least a few more. I am so blown away! Just for knowledge, did this get released in 12oz bottles at all? Or just the bombers?

I've never seen it in anything but 22oz bottles. Just the right size, imho.

Old Raspy stacks up pretty well against the "power" RIS

Had some Sixpoint Resin in honor of Adam, followed by Deviant Dale's and Gandhi Bot. Didn't plan on having all canned beers tonight, just kinda happened that way.

I guess for the most part, this is a rant and why I LOVE SN...

The Ruthless I'm drinking now was bottled Jan 20. And yes, while fresh it was much more resinous and hoppy....BUT, still at this moment, it's still full of Rye Flavor, crisp and hoppy. Just about as enjoyable as it was in early February.

TO ME...it's a breath of fresh air, especially these days on BA whereas I can purchase an "IPA" (Celebration and SNPA included) and not have to stress over drinking it within a month of bottling.

Thanks again SN, for always being dependable.

    Cheers everyone!

What did you think of the Gandhi Bot compared to the Resin and other DIPas?

Yep it's a 750ml C&C bottle. I'd love for you to bring Courage as well, I've wanted to try that beer for quite some time!
