For many beers, their true quality emerges only after numerous pints. If you honestly always want "better," you may have no choice but to "session" when you have beer.

In the year 2014, all craft beers will be bourbon barrel aged DIPAs with 'Hop' cleverly placed within the name of the brew. They will all be released as vintages, with a big "2014" on the label, but we'll be told by fellow BAs that they're past their prime by the time you get home from the bottle shop.

Heady hype will die down and another beer will be the #1 rated.

I hope to see distribution channels open up. I would love to have two or three decent out of state breweries start distributing in Texas.

Shares of Anheuser-Busch (NYSE:BUD) and Molson Coors (NYSE:TAP) will crater. This will not be the companies' fault, but that of the Federal-Reserve-manipulated stock market waking up to a nasty hangover.

Barrel aging will become almost mainstream in Belgium.

Even more brewers will release beers marketing them with “hop” something, sadly most of this will be far from hoppy.
Still as a result from these, even more people will become acquainted with hops.

Breweries will turn their focus more and more on the USA, further ignoring the local market & producing baffling interpretation of what Americans want.

The handful USA-inspired breweries will completely turn away from Belgium, focusing only on export, colab’s, their prices will continue to rise. Their small Belgian following will shrink in total alienation.

Brewdog & Mikkeller will come very close to becoming known brands in Belgium.

The Belgian beer landscape will become even weirder and all over the place.

That The Big Hype Machine in Emerald City will go on the fritz and people will have to figure out what they want all by themselves. And Double Sour Pale Ales. More good small breweries, barley growers, hop farmers, and malting specialists.

Next year Double Barrel Huna and PVW Assassin will wreck the trading forums, and maybe I'll finally get to try some SARA.

"Not the same as last year." Mixed packs made to be mixed together will become an idea. (from a brewery)

I predict fff's BA beers will continue to rise in price leading to a lot of people being butt hurt and me buying less of all their beer.

Pipeworks tap room will open and it'll be crazier than fff's to get in and get growler fills/bottles. Also they'll continue to make amazing brews!

I, like many of you, will spend an inordinate amount of money on delicious beer with no regrets.

And last, there will still be plenty of awesome beer to go around for us all to enjoy. Cheers.
