I haven't as of yet, but I will in the future. Vermont and the rest of New England during Fall Foliage sounds nice. I did a 10-day road trip through the back roads of New England about 15 years ago with my camera. I'd like to do that again with various beer stops along the way! Weather was nice, not too cold yet, just the crisp air the re-energizes the soul.

No, but I'm thinking a trip to Chicago wouldn't be out of the question at some point in the future. My GF has family there... and all those Midwest beers!

No but just about every vacation included visits to brew pubs or breweries and beer/liquor stores. I have returned from vacations in other states with more than 2 dozen different beer bottles from craft breweries. I returned from London with 6 different beers in my carry-on bag. Even on business trips I've found time to visit the local brew pubs and bars that feature local craft beers.

No, but I regularly try beers just to vacation... from the stresses of life. Two or three vacations weekly I'd say.

No...but I think now I might consider a trip to Tampa/St. Pete just to be closer to Cigar City for their amazing stouts.

Yes - the trick is not letting your wife know that trying/finding beer is not the reason for the trip

    Yes- Brussels. (Cantillon)
The trick is not packing any clothes so that you can fill your suitcase with bubble wrap and bottles.

Absolutely. Almost all of my trips are either for Furthur shows, or for brewing/judging/beer tasting. Sometimes I get to combine the events but usually it's one or the other. Since there is a Furthur hiatus in 2014, it will be all about the beer. I want to go to Prairie here pretty soon and maybe loop back through Austin as I went to Jester King in September and that was tasty...

Check the weather before you go, it was near 0 all week and had snow on a regular basis. It's a bitch of a drive in good weather near impossible in bad, especially HF in the winter, no thanks.

Heading to DC right after Christmas to try Bluejacket and maybe Right Proper (as well as pizza, Vietnamese, pub food, BBQ, museums). Planning a Philly trip (food/museums/beer) for kids' spring break and Colorado (food/hiking/beer) next June. The three pillars of all trips are great/moderately priced food, independent book stores, and great bars/tasting rooms. And plenty of walking to soak up the local neighborhoods/feel. And beer.

    Um, so, yeah.
