Such a great beer whether fresh or aged. In this case, it's a year old.

Got some chili in the crock pot on this fine Sunday. I was going to try and hold off on this for a little, but I figured why not? Going to have to drink this sooner or later, might as well be sooner!

Keeping the ball rolling with an "All Day of Toppling Goliath" Red label, single experimental hop. Bottled 12-13. Nice melon flavor coming from the hops. It has a real good nose, but not as explosive as Sue in aroma. A real good brew, & I'll get to see how it develops over the next few weeks.

So I'm kind of cheating. This picture is actually from last night, but just after I took the picture to post this, my phone died. sooo, what you see here is our 3 year vertical of 2011, 2012, 2013 Higland Cold Mountain. Awesome!!! 2012 was the overwhelming favorite.

This stuff should come with some kind of Surgeon General warning: "The Surgeon General has determined that this beer tastes great and goes down quick and smooth. At 9.2%ABV it will F*** you up fast."
