BCBS Variants in OC/LA this week?

I saw Coffee and BCBS at El Toro meats last night. They still had Abyss and FW XVII too.

 

Bevmo Pasadena-never got any variants but still has 20+ packs of regular BCS
Bevmo East Pasadena-never got any variants-all out of BCS
Whole Foods Pasadena-sold out

Was able to find some in an unexpected location with no limit. My advice for those still looking to try a not well known beer shop-they won't know what they have and not put a limit. I've found places that don't normally get rare bottles got some varients.

 

List the store. Otherwise this post is useless.

 

BW & BCBS @ one stop liquor in la habra starting at 2 pm

 

Best beer sale this year - only 30 people in line. They were having cellar sale, too, so I picked up a bottle of Pugie 12, uncle jacob's and parabola along with my one bottle allocation of bcbs & bcbbw. In and out in 10 minutes flat. Sweet.

 

Yesterday, Bevmo Torrance (hawthorne blvd) had at least 3 cases each of coffee and barleywine.

 

Was there today, those where gone

 

Went to Bevmo Pasadena yesterday, they did get some coffee with their last shipment but they are all out now. They are also all out of the regular.

 

Anyone still seeing the BW anywhere around LA?

I recently moved to New Orleans, and we didn't receive any variants down here. My housemate is heading to LA on Sunday for a week, and all I want for Christmas is to try some of the BW (Rye would just be gravy)!

 

20 minutes ago, there were 13 Backyard Ryes at Cap 'N Cork on Hillhurst. There are now 12.

Damn, any showing up outside of LA? I'm sure they'll be gone by the time I get there.

 

@Cannabaceae that's what I'm waiting for too, just lucky to have a friend that works in LA.

Cap n cork had no limit. My friend said when he was about to pay someone in front of him bought 5 backyards...so I doubt they'll have any left soon

 

Bill sold out, Cap N Cork about to sell out from calling. Not gonna bother driving from Pasadena over there since they aren't limiting it.

Adam's Fine Wine and Liquor in Redondo Beach should have Backyard Rye tomorrow at 9am. Information is posted on their facebook and a line is expected. I wish I could be there - got plenty of all the variants but none of this one. Hope it helps someone else out.

 

I thought about going to Adam's but since they announced it beforehand, there's probably gonna be a line. I'll pass.
