    Why would it taste bad. They are actually brewing with donuts... the voodoo donut beer was made with fake ingredients...

    I'm still left wondering how this combo would work. Donuts are bread, and the glaze is sugar which gets fermented. So what you're left with is alcohol and bread. How does that add anything good to a beer?

    That being said, I'm a sucker and I will be buying one.

    I can only imagine a Mexican donut cake beer brewed with cocoa nibs and cinnamon sticks and maybe some piloncillo :grinning:

    Seeing as you're so close to the promised land (Vermont), I'm 200% positive you can find someone to trade you Westbrook beers, for HF/Lawsons goodness. (That you would be me, of course...)

    Well the beer was done fermenting when we added in the doughnuts. It wasn't "brewed with doughnuts" it was more "aged on doughnuts"

    Had this at Brewvival last year. As much as I wanted to not like it, it was fantastic. I remember the donut flavor being like that of fresh glazed Krispy Kremes. It's the beer that my non-beer geek friends who went with me still talk about.

    Heard from Jeppe that Evil Twin Imperial Donut Break may not be released in NY. BTW, Even More Denmark, Chocolate Stout (10% abv), was released today in WF Brooklyn and was excellent.
