I was going to say, this year, I've had BCBCS 4-5 times this year in NYC (and there were a hell lot more times it was on tap that I missed).

Don't be disheartened by the popularity. NYC has great distribution and we have tons of bar events, everyday. You'll most definitely find it on tap if you can't get a bottle.

For those on Long Island, West Hempstead Beverage has it in stock as of 20 minutes ago. They are selling 4-packs (2 Stout, 1 Coffee, and 1 Barleywine). They had about 20 when I was there. Good luck.

crap, that's an hour away from me...bummer.

i've yet to see a bottle of coffee in person, but seems like most places are getting later in the week (i've even been told next week). also seems like limits are really tight and you are lucky to find more than a single of barleywine at a store...but supposedly there will be more around once all the deliveries are made.

Looks like places basically got a case of Coffee, a few cases of Barleywine, and very good supply of Stout. It seems like a lot of places are getting it so may just need to go to a few to get a bottle or two. Owners have been pretty good about chatting about it so hopefully will learn more about supply coming down the road, including the Rye.

Two interesting observations about bcs '13. First, I accidentally left a bottle of bcs 2013 in my freezer at 0F for almost 24 hrs and it did not freeze. Impressive. Second, bcs '13 bottle I bought from Tops Hops says 14.2 abv on it while another bcs '13 bottle I bought elsewhere says 14.9 abv. Anyone notice that? What gives? Cheers.

They legally are bound to .3% ABV tolerance on labels. There were different batches in this year's release, thus the different labels. I believe there are only two labels. (GI rep said so at Black Friday.)
