Usually, it makes me feel like my avatar.

Still excited about beer chasing. But I like stumbling in and finding something awesome when I'm just looking around more.

The chase is fun, but don't beat yourself up. If you do it for the love you'll never get burned. Every beer gets a chance... whether it's some hyped up rare oddity or something you've never had before that's on the corner store shelf.

Honestly I want to experience new beers and the like but I like that experience to just happen instead of chasing.Thankfully I live in an area of New Jeresey where I can find the great American brews as well as 25 Italian brews with new stuff coming in.

I work full-time and go to school full-time, no spare time for beer chasing... so I trade. That's what I have to do since some gang of hooligans is driving around every Tuesday morning, buying up all the Three Floyds practically before it's off the truck.

The fact that you have to chase certain beers now to get them is frustrating.

Naturally it's frustrating when you go out looking for something you really want, hit four or five different stores, and can't find it, or the clerk tells you they had it but it's already all gone and they won't be getting any more. But when you just pop into a shop and there it is, plus even other stuff you had never expected to see or had already given up ever finding, man... That just happened to me last week, and it was beyond exciting, it was magical. So now you know how twisted my priorities are in life.

Hey the law of supply and demand will catch up with you eventually - unsatisfied demand almost guarantees added effort to produce enough to satisfy it next time around. Just one of the many Glories of Capitallism. However, if your state government, like mine, has regulations which bans the import of certain things, like certain beers, ...you're screwed unless you go out of state to get it.

Chasing beers enables me to temporarily avoid confronting the reality that I will die one day and that someone else will take my place and assume the chase.

Excited. I literally dreamed about it last night. Maybe it's cause I live in the mountains on the border of eastern KY and southwest VA (middle of nowhere), and have to travel to get most of the great beers.

Super excited, unless I dont get any and then its a flood of emotion. Sad, confused, frustrated. Then I realize I have a whole cellar of beer at home to tap into and then I am happy again. Roller coaster. Keeps me hunting

I've never chased after a beer.

I like to try beers that I have never heard of before.

At least Surly seems to be heading out that way. I may actually be able to grab some next time I visit the family.

Yeah I do have that whole line-up at fingertips. It's not at the top of my wants for certain reasons but it's good beer.

I enjoy the chase. But I find myself passing on beers I used to chase. Too many great beers to choose from and I just can't drink them all. Even though I vowed to cut back over a year ago my cellar keeps growing.
