Bottle Shops near Lancaster, Ohio?

He's going to have to head closer to Columbus to get anything decent.

 

I'm from Cleveland and only get to Columbus every so often, but From the Vine, Palmers Beverage and The Andersons General store have always served me nicely. Have him look for Columbus Brewing beers - especially Columbus IPA.

 

Isn't that Rock Mill Brewery close to Lancaster? Or Canal Winchester? But yeah, plenty of bottle shops not far from there.

 

If you like good beer, avoid Lancaster. The best store is a Giant Eagle. Have him go to Columbus and check out Weilands or Pace High

 

Rockmill is in Lancaster, still better option to got Columbus though.

 

The Andersons way out on the east side of Columbus is probably the best bet.

 

Columbus or Newark are better options, Newark has The Beverage Source, Columbus has Blacklick, Sawmill Andersons, From The Vine, Weilands, Pace High, Barrel and Bottle, etc.

 

The Sawmill Andersons is FAR superior, although with the little traffic that seems to be out at the Brice Road store, there are some decent vintage beers sitting there on the shelf. Found an 08 Saison Dupont there once.
