Most Expensive Beer You've Purchased

Most money overall was I think $21 for Black Ops. Most money per ounce was LA Deliverance.

 

I paid about $75 for J&J Blauw while in Belgium last year.

 

$24 for a growler of Zombie Dust.
$17 each for Sucuba and Older Viscosity.

 

$30.00 cdn for a 330ml bottle of Ola Dubh 40 Year Old. Bought 4 at the time. Have since bought some Cantillon stuff for the same price, but per litre is still the Ola Dubh.

 

$49.99 for Rare....Get back to me in May and its probably gonna be a bit more if I pull the trigger on Lente or Zomer.

$24.99 for Westy 12. Oh how I wish this was available in the USA and at a decent price point. Best beer I have ever tasted by a wide margin. It was worth it for the experience.

 

It really is worth it....One of my top 3 beers of all time. I bought 1 at that price, then went back the next day and I ended up buying all 7 they had left, but he cut me a deal at $22 each

 

The most expensive that I've personally bought would be Drie Fonteinen Schaerbeekse Kriek and Cantillon Rose De Gambrinus. Bought of them were $22 a bottle, don't ask me why the Schaerbeekse was so cheap. I assume the store I bought it from received it before the big price hike. In trades I've received several bottles around $30. Black Tuesday, Melange No. 3 and some of the recent Eclipse variations were up there as well. I've yet to be let down by how much I've shelled out for a beer.

 

I recently bought Weyerbacher Riserva 2010 for $18.

 

$19 for Cantillon Bruocsella (1900) Grand Cru. I wanted to try the style.

$16.99 for a 375mL of Older Viscosity.

 

I've over-paid many times on eBay - the most expensive was a Black Tuesday for $74 shipped.

Next was $185 for a 3 year 09-11 vertical of Dark Lord.

After that, it's been $40-50 on various bottles of BA stouts like Surly Darkness, BA yeti and a few others.

I don't mind buying on eBay. It's easier/less time consuming than trying to find a decent trade for some of the stuff I'm interested in and marginally more expensive

 

And if it was an '09 it would have been completely flat. Like most of their other beers that are accidentally supposed to have no carbonation.

 

To-date, I think $11.95 for a 12oz bottle of Brew Dog's Paradox Smokehead. It was good but not worth it.
I shudder to think of the cost of some trades & online purchases when shipping is factored in...
