So this could be YOUR long awaited regionally-made, decently priced, mass-produced hoppy IPA. That's cool.

sure is...in the span of a few months we can go to a local packie and get LT Limbo, Wormtown IPA in tall cans, Larry and soon we'll be tasting SA Rebel IPA bottles to see if it lives up to the early reports...

let the mediocre local IPAs fall by the wayside with these new options...forgot another new one, Watchusett Green Monsta, not too shabby, enjoyed those in cans at the beach and boat this past summer, good session IPA IMO...

This beer is great. Better than most IPAs hyped or not. I absolutely love the hop blend they chose. Does anyone have specifics to what is in it?

Yeah, opinions don't mean much here. Mass group hype = quality for the most part I guess.

After a little more exposure to Limbo this weekend, I think the closest comparison for me is Hoponius Union, which I love but tend not to purchase as much because there is always something new to try. However, given that JA is generally a bit cheaper and I love supporting the little guys next door, I suspect I will be reaching for HU more often than Limbo in the future.

Got to try a six pack this weekend and liked it. A little on the malty side, but nice hop flavor. I can see the hop flavor fading behind the maltiness with a little time though. Thought it was in the range of SN Torpedo - no where near Heady like someone mentioned previously. Congrats to LT for updrading to modern hop flavors.

I have to agree, especially on the aroma - but the taste just doesn't live up to it (is that the Stone enjoy by onion taste?). I got a couple sixers from VT and another once it hit NH. I wanted to love it but will probably not be spending $10.99 again. Some have compared to HT? um, no.

Seems like a new shipment may have hit Boston area stores yesterday. Picked up another six pack at Cambridge Wine & Spirits in fresh pond yesterday - $10.49
