I'd tell you how jealous I am if I weren't picking up a bunch of Pere Jacques today after work :grinning:

Now all I need is some proper glassware! All I own is a few Guinness pint glasses. They're great but I believe I'm getting a 6 piece set of beer glasses for christmas.

If at all possible. Drinking from the bottle really mutes a lot of the flavors; there are beers that taste vastly different from a glass but I couldn't tell the difference between from the bottle.

I would just go to the dollar store and get a wine glass... cheers!

Bmc stuff from can or bottle, more than likely IPAs and such cans or glass, not from a bottle though.

However, being in the can or bottle mutes the aroma, so I strongly disagree with them being "fine" out of the container. That's just me, though. I like to smell the wonderful hoppy aroma.

If I have that option, absolutely! Beer tastes so much better out of a glass, especially anything that is a stout or nitro.

It's been literally years since I can recall drinking beer straight from a bottle/can after learning how much better beer is when consumed in a cup/glass.

Mostly because I'm usually in charge of providing the cup/glass when drinking vs being somewhere that doesn't have any available and me hating to ask for one like some snob.

Well slap my hands and tell me how to drink MY BEER!!!! My choice, my beer, my glasses, whether chilled or not. If I want to drink out of a can, I'll do that too, my choice! BUT, I won't do that...but, I could if I wanna...

Exactly! When the beer police come knocking on my door telling me how I'm supposed to drink it, then I'll reconsider. Cracks me up at the scolding I get over it, when the scolders don't know what temperature I store my beer at...sigh...

Love an All Day IPA out of a can. I might drink something I've had and didn't care for much in a glass out of a bottle. New Hollands Mad Hatter IPA for example, didn't like it out of a glass but seemed much better out of the bottle. Other than that I almost always use a glass.

YES. Even with canned beers. Glass. No exceptions.

This savage behavior must not be talked about. I am always with glass in hand. Don't think I do not hear shit about it. Me and my lucifer tulip go everywhere together.

I'm with you. For my session type beers (currently, Lagunitas , and sn Christmas). Both are by the case at my local costco. $1 / beer

I'll take those right from the bottle.

I'm already thinking about summer drinking on the beach and whether I should even bother with a plastic cup or not. Cans are permitted glass is not. Lancaster kolsch or hell or high watermelon would be a couple nice lite n easy sixes. I really enjoy my glassware though.

Nothing worse than going into a bar and seeing everyone drinking PBR from the can. It's usually a good indicator you're in the wrong place.

Unless I am camping or fishing, I always drink from a glass.

What temperature do you store your beer at? I keep mine at 50 degrees.

I can't believe that this thread is 5 pages long. The answer is yes, always. Especially a Heady!
