Indeed, this time of year here in the Utah valleys we quite often have the worst air (PM 2.5 levels) in the country. It has been bad for a week or so, but the recent storm has cleaned things up a bit.

Bought a case of Celebration myself last weekend... if you have cloned it, let me know!

Despite the periodic inversion hell, the only thing I really miss about UT is the very agreeable 4 season climate (oh, and the Red Iguana). Of course, I was still ski racing back then, so I'd head up out of the smog often.

All cascade pale ale.. I just did and its amazingly good for both session and hop flavor. Despite no one ever talking about it cascade is great to bitter with. Hit it hard with the whirlpool cascade additions at 150 degrees and its money. Dry hop with another 2-3 oz of cascade. Delicious beer everyone loves.

You can use Cascade in bolder beers and they hold up well. My all-Cascade barleywine has nice flavor notes from the hops, as it's still a young-un at 4 months.
