Heading to Detroit from Chicago tonight. Might not make it to Kuhnhenn for tonight but definitely will be there tomorrow. Im bringing a 6er of Zombie Dust in case anyone is interested in an IP trade.

Yes. Packed house inside. I don't see many empty seats. Haven't been out to the tent, not sure anything is going on in there yet.

Forbidden and raw bw both taste a lot like dripa, which is a good thing. Service takes awhile, but everyone is working hard so it's mostly just a staffing issue.

 

I honestly think what they are serving for the raw bw is the wrong thing. The guys I'm with got one this morning and said it was nothing like DRIPA, but mine definitely was

This extraneous ale is legit though. Wow.

 

Is there a separate bar in the tent and if so, does it have the same beer available or do you have to traverse both?

 

Kind of disappointed. Years past they had the tap list from the time they opened. This year the rare stuff like the bourbon aged stuff is only outside in the tent. First they said 3:00. Then when 3:00 came and went they said 5:00. I ran into Eric and asked him what time, and he said "duh, I don't know" and walked away. Ugh.

 

Now it's 5 for the tent? Glad I went back to work.
