JP biere de mars?

I actually got a bottle about a month ago from my liquor store in Logan Square. But that was the only time I saw it. Then I got some more on a trip to the AA pub. Definitely one of my fave JP's.

JP bottles have some telling dates on them, right? Given Vav's reply, and to a much lesser extent the fact that I have not seen any around, makes me wonder if the bottle you found was on the shelf since last year.

 

They generally have a white sticker on the back with the batch number and bottling date.

Any recent sightings around Chicago?

 

It hit Iowa a few weeks ago, easily the best batch of de mars I've had from them.

 

Just cracked a bottle of this year's batch tonight. Huge gusher. Also, incredibly delicious.

 

I still haven't seen this around the Chicago area yet. Any recent sightings?

don't believe so. good thing I'm going back to AA this weekend to get my fix!

 

There are quite a few sitting on the shelves at a store around here for $13. If you dont find any, you could always send me a check for beer + shipping and I could send you out a few.
