I know this beer disappeared for a while, but I've heard it's back in the states. Has anyone seen it around Boston or anywhere in MA/RI? One of my first introductions to good beer was my uncle drinking what looked like motor oil to me 20+ years ago while vacationing on the Cape, and I was thinking of snagging him some for Xmas if it was actually available. If anyone knows of a place carrying it, please let me know.

it's a different beer. Brewed in Trinidad. It's overly sweet, burnt caramel-like, if I recall correctly, and not anywhere as smooth as the old Mackeson was. You may try it our of curiosity, but you will be disappointed. That old one was a really good milk stout, imo a template for the style (but maybe that's my memory speaking.)
