Tried Stone Ruination for the first time after my round of golf today. Was pretty awesome! Stacks right up there with the best IPAs imo. Great Sunday!

Poured light golden into a tulip with about a 2 inch head

    *** New Rachbier Sunday***

    Greetings NBS,

A beautiful sunny day with mild early spring temps here in Southern, CT. The chores are done and time for an NB:

One of my favorite breweries, and a different style versus their norm and not one I normally seek. A good brew though.

Trying my first ever Short's Aww Jeah, and hopefully another storm is rolling through Michigan. Crank up the lightning! This classifies as the most bitter beer I've had yet. I like it, but have to be in the mood to have my tongue burned off! This happens to me from time to time and luckily, I was in the mood tonight. Has a beautiful aroma, that is the best part IMO.

    New "Righteous" American IPA

Lovely day in the greater STL area - a little warm and humid. Had a few new beers in the fridge so decided to give this He'brew IPA a try:

Not the best IPA I've had, but it will suffice for the start of the Cards game.

    Prost!

Finished the night off with the Lambrucha from Vanberg & Dewulf. Tea Lambic, interesting. Nice tartness and very dry, big earthy tea, but sour. Worth the price.

I did like it, I just have to be in the mood for it. I was coming home from a B-day party tonight thinking I wanted a strong tasting IPA tonight. So this hit the spot!

New Brown Ale Sunday (week 376)

Today was a gorgeous spring day spent enjoying the outdoors, as well as an hour with friends racking into a keg our hb clubs' hefe. Many enjoyable beers partaken here atop the ridge in Mid Hud Val NY.

This is some NC goodness I've never had before, and would enjoy to have again.

Idiot Sauvin IPA. Another solid offering from Elysian Brewing. Part of the Manic IPA series.

Nice day here in the Columbia Basin. 9 holes of golf under clear blue skies with temps in the low 60's.

I must admit I was a bit underwhelmed with the "super moon" last night. I've seen bigger and brighter moons around here, especially in late August.

    Happy Trails!

I recently tried the Mendocino Imperial IPA and I found quite delicious.
