Hello, tonight I called several local stores for SR and they were all out so I literally found a store 30 mikes away from my home that had only 4 SR in stock so I drove down there to pick up one. Was it a hot release or something? Should I cellar it for a while to improve the taste or drink the freshness out of it? Shoot your opinions here,

I really want to try it. Being in Ohio I am limited to 12% and below. Anyone want to part with one?

After reading that article, I'm going to have to go out and buy another bottle. Throw it in the cellar and see what it'll do.

I actually just had my first taste of SR tonight. I thought it was alright but got better as it warmed up. Still took me about 2 hours to finish the bottle myself.
Ill probably let the one in the cellar age for a year before revisiting. Unless it turns into a whale like CBS, then im gonna trade.

Anyone crack open a Sweet Repute lately? I am waiting for the right moment to drink my last one.

Had my second to last bottle about 2 months ago and was tasting slightly less boozy but not a drastic difference. I plan to drink my last one no earlier than January.

Appreciate the feedback. I think I will sit on my last one as well.

I had one over Mardi Gras last year and it was a yeast bomb. Tons of floats.

Had one in August and thought it was incredible. I wasn't a fan of this fresh on tap so I only bought two bottled to age. Wishing I had bought all four now. Planning on sitting on this last one for at least another year.

I had it on draft a couple of times fresh and loved it. Also stumbled across a bottle recently in a trade and drank it. Very tasty right now although it is becoming quite different from the original. I still have 2 bottles and plan on drinking them when they are around 3-4 years old.
