This was absolutely delicious; perhaps the best of rob's calendar so far - La Rulles Estival:

If you're a fan of that sour saison style, buy one of these right now. Still up for grabs in brewery creek.

    Thanks Rob!

17th from regular Craft was Hedonism from Ruckus, 18th was Camerons Cream Ale , 19th was Newport Storm Blueberry Ale. 17th Phillips was Rural Brewer Brown , 18th was twisted oak rye bock, 19th was Skookum Cascadian Ale. Phillips is the winner so far.

Only if you haven't had all of the Phillips offerings before, on multiple occasions, that is.

Not sure I'd agree either... I mean they didn't include a SINGLE dog beer.

Thursday was Schloss Eggenberg Urbock 23:

Friday brought... a bottle of gypsy tears?

If it looks a little darker than usual, check out the bottle cap - this was actually a bottle of rob's homebrewed barleywine. Awesome.

Saturday brought a Gouden Carolus Cuvee Van De Keizer:

Getting close to the endgame here... looking forward to seeing what the final few beers look like

December 24 (AKA Christmas Eve) in the Craft calender is a bust. Nothing against Brasserie Dunham (or their Black IPA, which is quite good), but c'mon, how about a seasonally appropriate offering for at least this day? Last year was the Bad Attitude Rudolph, which wrapped things up nicely. Now, meh.

No doubt you will be one of the first to buy it again next year.

Regular craft calendar was Peak Organic Hop Noir on the 21st, 22nd was American Standard Ale from Tap-It Brewing, 23rd was Evil Twin Low Life Lager, 24th was Brasserie Dunham Black IPA. Phillips was Barrel Aged Hammer on the 22nd, Cabin Fever ( a Imperial Black IPA) on the 23rd and Redrum which is a rum barrel aged bottle of red ale. The Phillips really delivered towards the end of the calendar IMHO

Really enjoyed my last couple of beers. 23rd was a Mikkeller Barrel Aged Black (Whiskey Edition), which was awesome- but paled in comparison to Christmas Eve, which brought a Crooked Stave Surrette Reserva (!):

Fantastic stuff, many thanks Rob. Hope you all had a great Christmas!

I sadly can't remember what I had and forgot to take pictures. December 24th was an amazing bottle of Hill Farmstead Arthur. Seems we had similar last beers in mind. Oh, and it was super delicious.

I most likely will, Mike, just like I do when I come across a so-so beer repped by Artisan Ales, and yet continue to purchase your subsequent offerings.

Seriously, get a friend on the opposite coast to build a custom 24. I sent one to Wpg for a total cost of around $125 including shipping, and it blew away the commercial version. Oh ya and it was fresh! 2-4 month old IPAs in the commercial version is a joke/ripoff. Considering how easy it is to get beer from all around North America, I don't really see the advent calendar as a good choice for anyone who has even a remote knowledge of beer.

Hoping to do that next year. Did you send 2x12 styro shippers?

Sorry to dig up the old thread but I didn't see a more recent one. Anyone buying the calendar this year?

I was not impressed with last years based on the price of it. Love the idea, I was just expecting better.. Still on the fence for this year.

Hello Guys. Here's to Clarify: The Costco "BeerAdvent Calendar" is different from the "Craft BeerAdvent Calendar" Different package, different beers.
Hoser - please get your facts straight before posting about our products.
