Merry Christmas. I just got a new Mega-Pot for Christmas.
However, there is no literature on it.
Do I need to do anything different the first time I use it?
I have 'seasoned' Stainless pots before, but that was for cooking, not brewing.

Congratulation for the new Mega pot. Give it a good clean with dish soap, leaving all manufacturing oils and grease off your beer.
In our home we only use odorless environmentally friendly, free of all the chemicals soap like this one.
    Merry Christmas.

Then brew your favourite beer in the pot. Ferment and send to me. I will let you know if your pot is appropriately seasoned...

Wash it and go! No special seasoning required.

I would just give it a brief wash with oxyclean and then boil a little water in it with the lid on to "season" it
(might not be completely necessary, but I'd do it anyway).

I think this is more relevant for passivating aluminum. For SS, wash and go.

Yea, no need to "season" a stainless pot
