    Been wanting this kind of table for a while. Wife had some local Amish guys make this out of cedar. When they asked about the metal trough in the center, my wife said it's for...errr...ummm...drinks. They asked, like beer? She got the feeling they had a beer every now and then.

    Beautiful! I'm not familiar with this type of table, what's the deal with the serving tray looking item?

    p.s. I'm pretty sure the Amish know how to enjoy beer, from what little I understand of the culture.

    The wife got me a surprise bottle of Sweet Repute and got me two bottles of barrel aged barley wine and the Kuhnhenn winter solstice. What can I say she is the best!

    My family has stopped trying to buy me beer (thank god) after so many miserable (but thoughtful) attempts. I did get two different soaps made from IPA's, Vermont IPA jelly, and some Double IPA lip balm though.

    How did they eventually catch on? Right now I'm picturing Steve Jobs sitting cross legged on the carpeted pine-needle strewn floor, tearing open gift after gift, exclaiming 'WRONG!' after each one.
