Anyone have any insight on when the MD, KBBS, and Assassin releases will be? Has Mike already posted anything related?

The xhops series sounds awesome, you can see pics on their Facebook page.

    Cheers!

No. It will be ready when it is ready, follow TG on Facebook and Twitter. Then you will be as in the loop as everyone else.

When we were there in the fall, they told us it takes 18 months to age. Assassin was last released April, 13, 2013. Last release of KBBS was June 1, 2013. Add 18 months and there you go. October-December 2014 most likely?

I saw someone ask on TG website about KBBS and they said probably fall 2014. I could be wrong but I thought Clark said yellow wax Assassin was in the barrels for 14 months hey I bet they will release it when it's ready.

I am pretty sure Assassin Day 2014 is going to be late Spring/early Summer. No clue about MD or KBBS.

Also, this years Assassin is aging in 23 year old Pappy barrels!

How difficult is it right now to find MD and Assassin 2013? It's simply does not seem to appear here at all in Chicago market (to the best of my knowledge).

    Brewery only

Check ISO:FT for how much it takes to land one

Hopefully it will be the same day as Dark Lord Day, otherwise the number of people in line may double the current population of Decorah.

Yeah, that would be nice; though I'm afraid that line is going to exponentially grow regardless; now that the TG stouts are out of the bag and are in such high demand. There were something like 350-400 people at the KBBS release last year, that's not going to happen again. With that said, I'm curious if TG has any plans for these brewery only releases such as pre-sale?

An online ticketing system prior to the release would be nice, though that would also mean people making the trek for release day may get shut out.

Getting goosebumps, I may have to quit my job if I can't take time off to go to the next release..

Interesting to hear Assassin is aging in Pappy. As if I wasn't excited enough for this beer.

I would love to see them announce it a 9:00 am for sales starting at noon of the same day. That would be a fun thread.

I get that. Personally, I'd rather take my chances with pre-ticket sales before I make the trek and then get shut out. It seems people are showing up to wait in line at releases earlier and earlier and while I don't mind waiting a few hours, I'm not going to take a day off so I can lineup the day before. I'd rather spend 5 minutes online and if I get tickets, great. If not, I saved myself time and money. In the end, its the brewery's call and I'm sure TG knows its going to be a little different animal from here on out.

It's going to be insane. The entire population of the city of Chicago shall descend upon Decorah for 2 days whenever they announce this coming Assassin release. The pleading cries of the doomed shall reach the ears of those living hundreds of miles away.

I think they should do it on the same day as DLD or do a raffle.

@tgchief x2 for release on the same day as DLD...You may choose only 1!

or a raffel/tickets system. both are better than a huge unorganized line of drunken people.
