I'm all over this thing. Seem to be the only one willing to engage.

I come here every morning to see what new beers are available. Chase and Tim are great sources, but what is lacking is someone in the liquor store business to post what new beers are available on a regular basis.

You think the local brewers would toot their own horn. Chase & Tim do a great job of giving up some info...

I like a store that uses its website or facebook page to shout out of new arrivals. Brown's in Stillwater and Goebel in Wichita do this. I'm sure Chase and Tim are doing everything they have time for right now. With the new digs and all it must feel like the last few seconds before the shuttle launches. Running your own business is tough when you're doing everything yourself. It's gonna pay off big time for those guys though.

Freddy used to do that and was a great source. Then something happened with his original fb page and he stopped posting here. Never figured that one out.

Out of towner here coming back home to visit my family in Wichita. Definitely plan on heading to Tulsa or OKC and looking for some Prairie and other locals. Anyone who can point me in the right direction and what to look for would be much appreciated!

Speaking for Oklahoma City, the best selection of craft beers is at Freeman's Liquor Store on N. Western. If you are looking for tap handles, I would recommend Tapwerks, McNellies and Republic Gastropub.

Best stops in Tulsa would be Collins Midtown Liquor, Grand Vin Bottle Shop, Ranch Acres Wine and Spirits, and BierGarten Wine and Spirits (in Jenks). Never hurts to let them know you're a BA when looking for limited items. Stop at McNellie's in downtown Tulsa for pint if you have time too. Surely you'll hit Goebel Liquor on West Street in Wichita while you're there! Good luck.

Thanks a bunch! I'll probably head Tulsa way so I can visit Prairie (looks like they are closed until the new year). This is a great road map! Outside of Prairie stuff, are there any other local brews you recommend?

If I can bring anything down for you (not sure KS has anything you don't) let me know!

Coop Ale Works: Territorial Reserve series beers, DNR Belgian Stong Dark, F5 IPA. If you strike out on all those, then you can always find Coop Native Amber.

Marshall Brewing: El Cucuy black IPA, "5" BA imperial red, Big Jamoke porter, McNellie's Pub Ale English pub ale.

Rough Tail Brewing: pretty new brewery, I've only had their Hoptomitrist and it was okay.

Dead Armadillo Brewing: brand spankin' new, I had their black ipa which was alright.

I've seen that Rob at Goebel in Wichita has been releasing rares from his cellar program all week long...Utopias, vintage BCBS stuff, etc, etc.

    Thanks!

Yes, Rob is a maniac. I met him in 2011 and my jaw dropped when I saw all the stuff he had on the shelves. 2002 Bigfoot sixers?!? 2006 BCBS? He's out of this world. I'll probably head over today and see what's shakin.

Someone told me that his cellar has more in it than the store shelves will hold. He can put together some mind blowing verts.

    facebook is killing beeradvocate.
Black Dolphin labels are in, probably going into bottles very early 2014.
Barrel aged Belgian IPA (citra and nelson sauvin) will be released sometime next year.
Looking at doing something special for our 1,000th batch sometime next year also.

I saw a nice 3-4 minute piece on KTUL, channel 8 this morning ( Good Day Tulsa ) on Prairie. Looks like a Farmhouse Golden ale made with Hibiscus is in work.

Driving down to Tulsa from Wichita tomorrow. Have a bottle of East End Gratitude 2013, Hardywood Farmhouse Pumpkin, and Captain Lawrence Rosse e Marrone. Looking for Bomb or P-bomb if anyone has extra in their cellar (longshot I know). Cheers!

There is still some Noir and Vanilla Noir sitting on the shelves around Tulsa.
