Just as always let us know the date and day. And arbi, (I dub u this now) we haven't banned u yet! I mean, if u really really want, I guess we could work out a trial banning or something.

And ya'll can ignore Mr footstones. He thinks its funny to drink pty out of a kwak glass. Lil does he know I'm sending the photo up to vinnie. That and the growler stunt up at RR will make certain there is a cardboard cut out of him up in the RR pub so all the staff there knows. Muhahahahaha

I'm definitely hoping to make it to my first one of these as well.

FYI. don't know if it will affect your decisions on what day to chose, but beer rev has franconian liberation day on sat march 17th, and imperial stout fest on sat march 24th.

Sunday afternoons would certainly be easiest for me to make, but I voted for Thursday so we don't overcrowd Beer Rev :stuck_out_tongue:

BR, you'll never be a true craft beer establishment unless you ban Arbitrator.

I'd love to attend one of these as well - just have an overriding fear of (beer collection) inadequacy that gives me pause....

Well, sounds like the 24th is a day to get some serious ticking done. What's gonna be on tap for the 17th?

Looking forward to another one of these for sure. I think I can make either time but Sundays are a bit trickier for getting a long hall pass from the family - but I'll do what I can to make it work. If Fraggle was implying that they'd have a bunch of leftovers after those Saturday events than my vote would be for the Sunday after Franconia (the 18th) vs. after Imperial Stout (the 24th) but I suspect I'm in the minority there. Despite not being the biggest impy stout fan, I do have my own home-brewed Imperial Stout to bring regardless of the date.

Not a sour? Well, if the stout is half as delicious as the sours it'll be great!

Thanks, I'm sure I can bring a home brewed sour as well, actually ready to bottle a new one after tasting it this weekend. It spent almost a full year on 25 pounds (pre-destemmer) of Barbera wine grapes (Italian varietal with lots of bright acidity but lower tannins). Then another half year in the carboy after I racked it off the skins. Took a long time for the sour-ness to shine through all that wine but I like where it is at, probably bottle most of it solo (it's a very lovely reddish pink), then blend in a more acidic sour (sadly too much is from acetic acid) with the last gallon or so. Those, however, won't be carbonated in time for this tasting.

ah well, i guess Beer rev will just have to turn into a tea shop then.

I get that too. Really, nobody's keeping score (if they are, I'm probably losing). Bring something you want to drink, or just buy a bottle of something from BR. Point is just to enjoy some good beer with a few other people who love good beer.

Buy something from BR anyway as a "thank you for putting up with us". But yes, no one's keeping score. I like to bring growlers of out-of-town stuff, since that leaves plenty for everyone. Probably can't do that this time, though.

Also, Chad, what're you thinking for a date?

Guys, I am currently thinking about either 3/11 or 3/18 (both Sundays). I am still trying to figure out my travel schedule for work, but that is what I am currently looking at.

It's a shame I cant put up a new poll!

3/18 seems like a bad idea to me, it's the day after the Bruery initiation. Becky and I won't make it, and I think the same will be true of others. Of course, we may be the only ones going...

Dang. I won't be able to make either of those dates (KBS 3/11) & (Bruery 3/18). Looks like I'll have to make the next one. Hope you guys have a blast!

I can probably make it on 3/18, but definitely can't on 3/11.

I could maybe make it for the 11th, but will be down for the Reserve Society shindig (and a Pizza Port/Alpine growler run!) the following weekend.
