come on, you have not really seen many "pro" installations and I suspect have never been paid to do a commercial installation. could be wrong.
Sometimes it is better to remain silent and appear ignorant than to speak up and remove all doubt.
    Cheers.

I have seen many professional installations and I will say zero_signal is correct.

Not to pick nits (though I tend to do exactly that ), but you previously recommended a Y connector. Maybe our definitions of 'half-assed' are different.

of course the question was not posed to you, though your assessment is correct.

    however,
why are asking about how to make your set up work correctly if you have professional experience? surely you are familiar with Y and T fittings and have seen shut off valves before. the solution to your problem is fairly basic for anyone who has been around draft systems.
    Cheers.

ok...Lets all drink a beer and calm down here. Everbody getting their underwear in a bunch over nothing..OP you could do the folllowing to split your co2:
    -Use a "T" fitting
-Use a "Y" fitting on your regulator with two shutoffs
    -Use a manifold splitter
    -Use a double primary regulator
-Use a Secondary 2 product Regulator
However you choose to do it is your choice. Its your system.

I have worked as a brewery rep for the last 6 months and cleaned a billion draft systems in that time. I do have a decent amount of experience working with them, but I have never personally seen a Y fitting being used. It did seem simple and straight forward when I asked the question, but I figured someone on here could give me pointers at the very least. Such as not using the side port

    fair enough.
one thing I enjoy about our quiet corner of BA is that our family is quite small. we can usually bust chops without too much fallout.
    guilty.

    Cheers.

My "y", sometimes referred to as "wye" . . . why is a y called a wye? Why not?
