Bourbon County Variants in CT

A friend just hit me up and said he got a few propietors in a store in western CT. Shouldn't be long... And I thought this was a Chicago only release too!!!

 

I'd be shocked if this was true.

I was not calling you a liar, just that I would be shocked that CT would get it that's all. My first thought would be that he scored Backyard and was mistaken. That's all.

 

Although it is a possibilty, I'm pretty sure it is legitament because there is no other blue bottle or coconut BCBS... But oh well (shrug) happy hunting guys!

Yes. About a week ago at Southington Wines on Queen St. They had at least a couple 4 packs left. If you are in the Western Section of the state DeCicco's in Brewster had a couple cases remaining.

 

Thanks AaronF. Tried Southington wines but they were out. Unfortunately I live in New Haven County and Brewster is quite the hike.

 

As much as I'd like to try a variant for the first time, im really over waiting this long for these beers to be released in CT. I doubt ill even seek these out after this terrible situation. Good luck

 

I feel like CT is never going to see coffee. Sad. I, too, am not going to go nuts chasing around for it if/when it ever shows up. If I happen by it at the store, great, if not, whatever. This has been handled terribly.

 

This is my thought as well. It helps that I have a few bottles of KBS to drink if I dont get the coffee and a bottle of Sucaba aging in my basement if I dont get the BCbw. I also just had Sebago's barleywine and it was really good.

Plenty of great beer out there. No need to freak out if we miss out on 1.

 

A&P in Mystic had a ton of the barley wine as of Saturday evening.

 

Mystic A&P still has multiple packs of barleywine on the shelves as of this afternoon. Great store and the beer guy there is a fellow BA and great guy!

Mystic A&P is sold out of coffee and still has BW left. Waterford A&P only got BW and is $6.99 each, no limit.

 

6.99 per bottle? Holy cow. I got 2 four packs in R.I. for 15.99 apiece.
