Evil Twin Imperial Doughnut Break

Anyone know when this will drop in Ohio?

 

I love Lil B, and have had every variation of IBB except for Deccicos, and this beer to me tasted vastly different from Lil B. It had such a bizarre sweetness that I've never tasted before in a beer. I thought Doughnut Break was fantastic, and definitely my favorite Evil Twin beer to date.

 

Bullcrap! Lol The best one by them is Even More Jesus.

You'll see.....I've warned everyone. The idea, label and pics sound/look good, but it just didn't work. I don't think it was nearly enough doughnuts for that batch. The reason people loved it at the last year's Brewvival is because Jeppe stuffed ONE keg with doughnuts.

 

All of the Evil Twin bombers are brewed and bottled by Westbrook, which is only 25min. from me. Also, I was in their barrel room yesterday and saw some amazing stuff. I won't say what...no spoilers!!!

22oz bombers are Westbrook. The 500ml are Europe. The 11.2oz are Europe. The 12oz are done in Connecticut

 

I've only ever seen aun mas a Jesus in 11.2oz bottles

 

There is your answer! Westbrook makes the better Evil Twin beers than Europe and CT.

I don't know if we make it better. We just do a different size. All the ones from CT have been great. Especially Molotov. Also need to try the hop flood they just released. We did it once and it was awesome. Kind of like a black IPA but not as roasty, more like a brown IPA.

 

I liked One Claw and Molotov Cocktail alot. And I don't even dig hop forward beers.

 

This hit SE Mich earlier this week, about $15.99 a bomber.

 

Charleston Beer Exchange (CBX) just sent out an email this afternoon saying that they will have this on their growler station starting at 5pm tomorrow. This will be limited to 32oz and 1 per customer. No word on the price.

 

Yeah, I was jacked up about it, because I love Glazed Doughnuts. I didn't really get a sweet doughnutty taste in it, just tasted like an imperial porter. That's just me though.

 

Westbrook also has it on tap, but no growler fills.
