    Blah blah blah...

Jesus, how long did it take your roided-out brain to type all that? It was a painful read, to say the least. You switched out bottles that you had agreed to put in on that BIF with lesser bottles compared to what everyone else contributed. You have more excuses than anyone I've seen on BA. Why don't you try and complete a trade without screwing it up and getting called out? It's not like this is your first time.

I'd call you and challenge out for a pose-off or whatever it's called, but I think you'd like that a little too much. You'd probably come up with some excuse and back out...your car broke down in transit? You had to move and you got off your routine at the gym? Someone replaced your roids with estrogen? I'm sure you'd think of something.

The bottom line is this: If you enjoy hearing excuses, waiting on beer that's owed to you, enjoy bro-dates at the gym, love reading novels, and handcuffs...trade with mikeyv35! Otherwise, trade with caution!

We'll then you should probably get the golden trader award!

I was doing 10 cellar clean trades in order to downsize while I was packing/moving my cellar and home.

Yes, my communication was terrible on this deal.

Last thing I want to say to the OP is sorry for my tardiness and poor communication in this deal, no excuse. I will do my best to make it right and more.

Not an excuse at all, but I guess my trading mentality is very relaxed. In the past a lot of times I have been owed beer in trades and with regular trading partners for months, sometimes even as long as a year. However, I never even question the person because I always get my beer due mainly to the fact that I don't worry, stress, or care about it at all. This style has suited me well as I have never been stuck on a deal. On a few occasions I have set up another trade with the person that owes me beer without even realizing they still owe me beer until they point it out. I guess this mentality has transcended into a few of my own deals and caused problems. I need to be more mindful of others trading styles and communicate much better in the future. Plus, be aware that not everyone is as trusting as I and might not be aware that I have never stuck anyone for beer in 300 or so deals and I cannot expect complete trust.

Punctuality has never been my strength, but something I am trying to improve on. I agree with the one comment about me sending first in deals. I think I am going to make that a permanent thing where I am always going to automatically send first, which would suit my trading style much better. This way I can never owe anyone beer and if mine takes awhile to get to me in return it does not matter because I don't really give a fuck.

I too have traded successfully with mikeyv35, not one problem.

Things happen in all of ours lives that could change how we communicate or drive by our shipping depot. I am guilty of this from time to time. I work for a power company and when the weather gets bad I sometime don't make it home for days. You all say"well then communicate that", most of the time I am in cellular black zones and the few precious sleep hours I get are not used for beer trading, sorry.

P.S. I'd trade with him again, anytime.

I think everyone can understand a few days or a week without communication. But if you have no communication with a trading partner for weeks on end, or are even on here without responding to open trades, that is what warrants the poor communication / bad trader label (this isn't about the OP, didn't take the time to reread the thread, just a general statement)

I don't want to get into a pissing match with my question. But if the person he sent the box to did not object to him switching out 1 bottle, why would you "the commitee" care? Why would you put him on blast for this? granted i do not know the rules of said super secret commitee whale BIF.

I think there's some confusion here. While I was very much satisfied with the box I received from Mikeyv35, the contentious Confounded Mr. Sysyphus was actually part of the NEXT White Whale BIF and I was NOT the one who received it.

I've traded with Mikeyv35 a couple times, and I've always received what was promised. I think once it took a little bit longer than expected to receive my box, but hey, life happens.

I was about to log off when this thread caught my eye.I said to myself,"Hey,I remember a bad trader thread about this guy a short while back." Wow,it amazes me why one wouldn't use the bad trader thread to their benefit and check it!Sorry,I'm not into waiting 6 months to hear back from a guy to see if I'm gonna get a box that is owed to me.If life is that much in the way, please don't bother trading and causing others unwanted grief.

Hope all works out in the end OP.

    Cheers All.......

Sorry for the confusion brother! Yes, that's right I sent to you on the first White whale I was in not the second. Glad you liked the box though as I remember. I had fun searching for the contents and you were a tough fill. Take care and be well.
