Was able to get two coffee and two barleywines at maximum beverage for 25.99. Worldwide had 3 bottles of barley wine left after selling me one of the bottles for 6.49. So I got three barley wines and two coffees. I was pumped to get some. i ended up giving one of each to my brother-in-law. he has hooked me up with beer plenty of times. Glad I was able to get enough for both of us to atleast try. Nothing better then playing santa clause..

CT Beverage in Wallingford has 4 packs of coffee and barley wine. If they say they didn't get any it's BS!!! Ask for the manager!!! It's hidden in his office.

This info if per my friend Chris who is very truthful and trust worthy

Wow thanks for the update!! Glad you posted that it's all allocated so no one makes an unnecessary trip.

I have been in hiatus with the new baby but I'm back strong now lol!
I lucked out finding the bourbon county today, must have been to 9 places and was only lucky at 3.

I've been looking for Damon but he changed his cell, tell him to BM me!!

Wonder if any places u posted still have it I'm not personally getting any from my store cuz there's so little. I'm kinda pissed I didnt see this early as a trip to Wallingford isn't bad at all.

I hit up the Wallingford stores mentioned here, and there out of coffee, I didn't ask about barley wine.

If I can't find coffee, I'll probably be trading a backyard for some.

For everyone in Fairfield County, I checked BevMax in Stamford this morning. They had nothing (nor did they know what I was talking about).

Sounds standard for BevMax. Nobody who works there ever seems to know anything.

Yeah, I did a double take at the register, but the lady ringing it up said that's what they had it in the system for - kind of a fluke I found it because this place in R.I. usually has subpar selection.

Total Wine in Norwalk got Coffee in....you have to ask for it, though. It's not on the shelf.

    EDIT: $21.99/4pk

I hate this. I understand the reason for it, and I'm not calling you out specifically 'cause bottles shops the world over do it, not just you. I get that you want to help out your regulars, because they are the customers that help keep your business thriving, and that's fair. But I wish more shops would take a hybrid approach. Allocate 50% or so of your delivery to a pre-release list, and put 50% out for anyone who happens upon it. Or something like that. It's unfortunate because nobody knows who is going to get limited release beers, and in what quantity. So the shop that is in my neighborhood and that I am loyal to and support might get the shaft on a particular release. I'd like to hope that I might be able to go to another shop a few towns over and find some, and would be disappointed to get there, see a case of coffee and be told sorry, it's already allocated to other people.

I know I will probably get flamed for this. So sorry in advance, I'm not trying to ruffle feathers. Honestly.

Dude no offense but please be quiet. I am getting one friggin case and had people asking me since October so I had to make a list to be fair. I love when people have suggestions but haven't spent a day in my shoes. What do I do with one case? It's just the way it is man. As a manager I have the right to do any way I see fit. I am not a person who sees anything wrong with putting someone on a list who spends $120 at my store any given week. Fuck the political correctness man im just being honest dude id rather be able to sell a bottle or a 4 pack to someone who will actually come and support me and my store when theres no fucking special releases like bcbs or whatever the fuck it may be. It just doesn't sit well with me to have somebody who will never come to my store ever again come wipe out my one god damn case of bcbs coffee and then have to look my regulars in the face and be like sorry man your hit dude a guy 10 towns over really needed it cuz his regular store didn't get any. Fuck that and fuck anyone who has a problem with it.

Well that's one way of making sure people who don't already come to your store never go from now on.

Your attitude on this is atrocious, and rather unwarranted.
