Will Framingham allow oversized glasses? Could you do something like a 16oz pour line on a 18+oz glass? Something to consider for the next iteration...

The actual glass is 11.5 ounces, makes for a 9 ounce pour.

Nevermind, I just read the article.

So the new 12 to 8 hours begins Framminghammer week (Jan 13th week)? I have Friday the 17th off and wouldn't mind driving up there during the day and avoiding traffic.

@JacksAbbyBrewing ""We are not a bar," said Hendler. "We are not a come and sit down and have a (drinking) session. We want people who come here to try a beer or two and then visit some of our accounts."

So does this mean you'll be limiting the amount of pours per customer??

There are no plans to limit pours at the moment. Between the fact that we close at 8pm and are standing room only, we do not anticipate a need to have a stated limit. That being said, our staff has been trained to be vigilant about not serving people who appear drunk, and we will be erring on the side of caution.

Not familiar with BYOT or BYOC. Urban dictionary did not help either, as I am hoping you were not referring to Bring Your Own Condom or Bring Your Own Trojan. Though considering the two are related that may have been what you were going for...

BYOC = Bring your own chair? Since it's SRO (standing room only).

Yet another reason to continue supporting Jack's Abby. I like where their head is at.

For the meantime you cannot bring in food, we are still in the process of determining what is allowed with the Board of Health. We hope to be able to allow food soon and will try to get some food trucks to stop by down the road.

As to chairs, our license allows no more than 5 seats, so we will have out a couple stools unless we are really busy. As to tables, in addition to our new bar, there are rails up around the entire room to put drinks on.
