Hi everybody! Im looking for some assistance. I'm in the south suburbs trying to hunt down a Citra Ninja for a out-of-state friend in the area. Of course, I seen it at several of my local spots last week, before my buddy hit me up asking me to get him one. Now I can't find any! By chance does anyone know a location that still has a bottle?

And for everyone else TNA is at binnys on grand , you have to ask for it since they r under construction right now.

 

Just scored a TNA at the Arlington Heights Binnys as of 12:30 they still had 2 cases left... one bottle limit

Thats where I started, had no luck finding a place by me with Citra. I also noticed they mention that the list isn't 100% accurate and why I decided to try my luck here. I should have mentioned that I checked that list, sorry about that and thanks for replying!

Am I the only one who really wants to know which specific beers those reviews were of?

 

It's not hard to Google search them. I just did "atrocity on epic proportions" and found it came from this....

 

So they're referencing Blue Lady (likely #31,) a beer that was recalled due to infection? I love Pipeworks. I've tried every ninja and abduction variant. I've enjoyed the Dog variants. They've done some really interesting beers that have been original (Hey Man, There's a Beverage, Nisperos de Batata ) With that said, I thought that print ad was a mock of stupid tickers with unnecessarily exaggerative expectations and skewed views on a beer. In actuality it seems more like accurate descriptions of a product they dropped the ball on, that they seem to be enjoying mocking customers for purchasing.

Pipeworks is a terrific brewery and I'm excited to live so close to their tap room, but making fun of your customers who spent money on a product you made and that you agreed had quality control issues, makes you look like you're not laughing with us, you're laughing at us.
