Welcome aboard Matty. I see some nice stuff there to start. Haven't tried the Modus Operandi yet but I've heard good things.

Don't know if Id be ready to start giving proper reviews! Haha, but I'll rate them and give a few thoughts once I drink them (Saving them for the weekend probably).

Couple of new looking beers in M&S both Meantime, a Greenwich Black IPA (actually really hoppy and bitter, lovely stuff) and a smoked German bock which I haven't yet sampled.

The Greenwich Black IPA really does take the Supermarket bottled premium beer stakes up a notch
and is probably the best of that ilk, the smoked bock was so so though.

My local B&M Bargains has Huber (from Wisconsin) at 69 Pence for a 33cl bottle: only bought one though, just in case it's not too good.

Haven't had that in almost 30 years. Sort of get the impression you can barely give it away in the States.

I picked up a single bottle from my local B&Ms for £1. Can't say I've noticed the regular Peroni in any of the supermarkets that I frequent. It looks like you were just in your local store though, so perhaps they aren't carrying it there....

Just opened an Anarchy Citra Star. Lovely beer

    Wee, sleekit, cow'rin, tim'rous beastie
I've found a bottle of Belhaven wee Heavy hiding in the pantry
seems a fitting end to a tough day.

It wasn't worth 69 Pence to be honest.

3 bottles of wine and oh jesus my head. Why does wine give such a worse hangover than beer?

Drinking the Wild Beer Co. Modus Operandi as we speak, my initial impressions are quite good. It's surprsingly light (It's barrell aged so I was expecting it to be a thicker) but definitely has a nice taste, it's very very fruity.

Hello Matty, we've not communicated yet!

You've joined the BA UK threads just around the same time I've surfaced again after a self imposed exile.

Currently drinking down a Harbour India Pale Ale: I have a couple of the Sainsbury 2013 Beer challenge beers hanging around still, so thought I drink one before it's BBD arrived.

I've a few Belgian brews I've lined up next.

    <*))))))><
