Uh, Pdubs did the appropriate thing, acknowledged the mistake, and offered "compensation" for those that purchased Blue Cheese Lady if they wanted it. In fact, you got a really cool glass, which i use regularly. I think there were some stickers in the box with the glass too. WTF is the problem in the thread today? For fuck's sake people, it's beer and this is the internet.

Let's talk about how we can help Pdubs expand their barrel operation.

I saw one of the Ninja series at Archer Liquors by Midway Airport today. I think it was Citra Ninja, but I'm not 100% sure.

You wouldn't believe some of the trade offers I've gotten for it. The hollow handle is great for warming bigger brews.

I kinda think of it this way; what if somebody told you that you had an ugly baby? I'd be pissed. I see the ad parody as a way for PW to blow off steam with the regular fans without severe consequences. If the product is shit, that's a bit different but acknowledged the ugly baby. Time served; they can fuck wit it.

Related, I would love to see a funny or die dramatic reading of the blue cheese lady reviews.

 

Plus how awesome is this thing? Not sure how many people outside of fwb have seen these. And dont try to fake one it's not the full cert, they are numbered, and it's printed on treasury stock

I am yet to get any FWB rewards besides the right to buy beer (which is cool with me), did they ship these out?

 

i plan to take one to CW16 weekend. staying at the holiday inn. if we don't trade, could at least make it part of a tasting

 

Anyone know of any TNA left in the nw suburbs? I got some free time tomorrow to go hunting.

 

Also, for Pipeworks, do you have any new info on when you'll be deciding on the new distribution locations?

 

This whole thing started because I responded to someone who can't taste coconut. I feel sad for these people. If they can't taste it in TNA or Prop then they should stop trying. They never will.

Have you had it? You stated you had not a couple days ago. If not, aren't you being a bit presumptuous? People have differing opinions on many things, the way beer tastes is one.

 

wait? what? how did you come to those conclusions? the print ad isn't mocking anyone... (nor does it say anything about blue lady... some internet junior detectives with google added that connection about one of those quotes) we have probably close to a 1,000 funny things people have said about our beer that we've been writing down... we don't know which beers are referenced in the quotes or in that ad. we've just been keeping track of funny things people have said (maybe the blue lady ones happen to be the most entertaining).

and why on earth would we mock people who bought our beer? or laugh at them? man, can't do anything right on here =p

Internet junior detective? Man, someone wondered about the source of the quotes, and I just tried to steer him in the right direction. You guys really are dicks.

 

I think that was a option. it helped that I lived next to the brewery. The botle opener key chain is awesome too.
