Expected Releases in January

It's definitely here.

Specs (Mr G's) had it yesterday. Picked up two bottles and stood at the register for 5 minutes while the cashier tried to check me out. Finally, they said that they couldn't sell it to me because it had to be sent back to the distributor because they had not actually ordered it, and it couldn't be put into the system. It really made no sense to me, and I would have been sort of pissed off had I not already found some in CO.

 

Two four-packs of FIS on the shelf at Austin's Parmer-McNeil HEB. $9.75/pack. Employee seemed surprised it'd come in, so I'd guess more is in back.

 

Nice, this is my HEB. I'll be going by there on the way home from work.

 

$9.75 is either a mistake or A GREAT sale price. FIS should be 11.99 and up.

 

A shit load on the floor for $11.99. Their overall beer selection blows, but glad they got this!!

 

Did Texas get barrel aged Hibernation? It's a big boy beer. I have one left but don't remember where the hell I bought them.

 

To anybody surprised about the ease of acquiring FIS, don't be:

That's one of the reasons I feel its unnecessary to post where you saw a pallet. More then likely you'll stumble across some somewhere

 

I think it's $10.99 over here--either way, an absurd deal!

 

That's why I grabbed a 4 pack when I was already at Specs trying to get Sucks.

It's like Breakfast Stout. It's seasonal, but certainly not tough to get.

 

So what you're saying is that we should be stocking up on FBS right now?

FIS 13.99 at east 1st grocery...definitely a pass

 

I don't mind paying an extra dollar or two there, when that does happen. The service I get is way, way more than worth it, and there's always good conversation and good beer to be had.

 

I feel like east first is the D&Q of austin. The customer service you get there is worth the extra buck or two.

 

I like knowing where it is and how much at each location.

 

Either one of those would be better than 13.99 I paid at Sunrise

 

Have you found a 17? I've been late to the party at Kings, TW, and Specs Hulen....
