NBO: 2nd Half Hockey Challenge

Having just come off a near miss on the College Bowl BIF, and catching the bug. I was thinking about doing a BIF for the 2nd half of the hockey season.

I would use the Hockey Challenge page here http://games.espn.go.com/hockey-challenge/2014/en/ to run it. The advantage of doing this over a regular fantasy league is a larger number of people can join (basically unlimited) and also we don't have to worry about getting everyone together for a draft.

44-96 ounces of 88 rated beer or above. Right now, I'm judging interest. If 10 people message me that they are interested then I will start the league. You set your roster once a week, next week starts on January 13, so the cutoff to join will be the 12th. If I don't get 10 teams, then I won't bother running it. This is not a winner take all league but instead will be decided based on number of entries.

 

We are up to 4 members, not too bad in less than 24 hours. Hoping to get 6 more by Sunday.

 

If anyone else is interested, let me know. There is still a lot of time left in the season so shipping won't be until mid to late April.

If anyone needs an extra week to signup, let me know. I'd be willing to delay the start of our second half season if it means more people will sign up.

I only like half of your status. I hope the Rangers lose.

 

We have 5 people in the league, and a six has said they'd join. Need a few more to make this work.

 

I was originally thinking 10, but could do with 8. With 8 first place would get 4 boxes and second would get 2.

 

A seventh messages me, but still only 5 in the league. Not sure this is going to work, I'm up for giving it another week though.

 

Ok, let's start it next week. If you guys can, can you take down your rosters for this week? This will keep everyone's score at 0. New starting date is Jan 20.
