Had my first malt liquor

Some choice. At that point, I'd be drinking water...or bourbon...or iced tea...or merlot...or Mountain Dew...or muscadine...or a fruit smoothie...or brandy...or a milk shake...did I mention water?

 

Did they really?? I don't know if you're dead serious or joking.

 

Rogue had a beer once called dads little helper malt liquor, and dogfish liquor de malt. I'd like to try the latter just out of curiosity.

 

I'd certainly try a craft-brewed malt liquor.

 

No it was real. It was called Liquor de Malt.

Came with a paper bag with the Dogfish logo. Even had a sweet red plastic cap.

 

Natty Daddy is where it's at! Only cold though, as with most malt liquors.

IMO Colts too sweet for me, I'd much rather have a Mickey's or OE. Steel, Natty Daddy, and Schlitz Bull Ice are on a different level flavor-wise than the first three. And then there's Camo cans.. 8.5-12.2%, which IMO aren't too dissimilar from the flavors of English Barleywines. Especially the 12.2% "Black Ultra"- ~5 drinks for 99c; hard to beat that $$/ABV even with Franzia

oh it brings me fond memories of edward 40 hands. one hand duct taped with colt 45 and the other with olde e. I don't remember nothing else after that.

 

I always liked malt liquors. Try Full Sail malt liquor. Downright delicious, an excellent craft version of the classic 40 oz malt liquors. I always pick one up when I hit that store that sells them.

 

Edward 40-Hands and taking Strikeout's with Mickey's and Old Crow are the good memories I have with malt liquor On the other hand, I don't remember the bad memories much at all, although there were a few..

I can definitely get down with some malt liquor. Was all about OE, until I drank an old 40 and puked all over the place during the middle of the evening. I can still do a Colt, and the occasional steel reserve though!

 

I still love a 40 or 64 of OE or Mickeys every now and then. Take it over a BMC any day of the week.

 

Similar to a pilsner glass, snifter for RIS, tulip for IPA's, a brown paper bag is a must for properly enjoying a Private Stock.

 

I get down with the better Malt Liquors from time to time, even if I love my craft beers. Colt 45 beats out most BMC brews for me.

 

Try Camo XXX, it's the Pliny of malt liquor. The first malt liquor that I've had was Olde English, I drank two of them as fast as I could and ended up vomiting it all out. How I miss the good times in college.

 

Voodoo made a malt liquor called 22oz to freedom

I gave it a 3.79. Pretty much just malted barley and corn adjacent. Not too big on it so I assume I will not be tracking down any others in the future.
