It hasn't been brewed by Goose Island for a couple of years, it is now for Trader Joe's by Gordon Biersch using the dba name of "Josephsbrau Brewing Co., San Jose, CA."

Elk Mountain is the1,800 acre AB-owned hop farm (supposedly the world's largest).

GI used to brew it for them, Gordon Biersch does now -- but it's still pretty good.

Seasonal Pale Ale variants. There aren't enough of those.

Harvest will be missed at least by this BA.

I found Ten Hills at my store, hadn't seen much Goose Island stocked there before, so took a six home. It didn't blow me away really, not the first night. I'd heard so much about GI that I'd expected something revolutionary.

It could be I'm hop-spoiled by now. The next beer I opened was FW Union Jack IPA... Delirously tasty.

If you look at their website, it's listed as retired.

I thought 312 Urban Wheat was one of their core beers. They sold it in cans which was cool but its probbably their worst beer.

Summertime will be missed by this guy. Loved its lighter, spritzier counterpoint to Schlafly's year-round Kolsch. They're two of the three "Summer drinking" beers I buy every summer.
