This was my first reaction, too!

Also, I noticed that Victory Lager is nowhere to be found on the calendar. I know (at least in my store) it does not sell well, but it's easily my favorite American version of the style and one of my favorite beers in hot weather. It would be a shame if this were to be retired (or become a brewery-only release).

Eagerly awaiting White Monkey and Red Thunder... though a few bottles of the latter I've seen laying around. Also pumped for all-year DirtWolf.

Brandywine lager was an export vs the current helles.

2013 was the first year I couldn't obtain any Moonglow. Our Victory rep says wherever he goes, retailers & customers always ask for it. The demand is obviously there, so I don't know why they're not considering bringing it back as a wide-release seasonal again now that they have the two brewing facilities.

I miss the Saints as well, especially St. Boisterous.

Hope this means Oak Horizontal is being distributed wide. We got Red Thunder for the first time this year and we still have some sitting around from a few months ago. I think it's a good beer but we could easily get by on half the allotment our area received.

Disappointed that St. Victorious isn't back in the lineup. With the return of Old Horizontal, this is really the only beer that I miss. It tells you something about the quality of a brewery where everyone has a certain beer they miss (the Saints, Moonglow)

Where in NY are you? curious... Old Ho is on tap right now at a very select few bars on LI, and some bombers still on shelves.... it was REALLY good this year too... had like this chocolately thing going on in the malt bill. Did side by side with a bottle of 2011, and both were amazing... slight edge to this years though!

Kind of a Taproom only thing, but if you specially request it, or plan to put it up as a steady line, I'm sure your rep with work the the local distrib to stock it in smaller amounts. At least that is my understanding, as it is in our market.

dirt wolfs good, but hop ranch is seriously one of the most drinkable DIPAs EVER. id take a hop ranch over dirt wolf any day of the week.

I had session IPA at the brewpub on Saturday and it was pretty good.
I can't believe they already ran out of hop ranch both on tap and cases.

Excited overall, but a bit disappointed about old horizontal not in 6 packs and no Moonglow (one of my favorites) or St. Victorious.

I was contacted by another BA who said that there was draught Moonglow available in NYC recently. I still haven't seen any myself, but that may have been the last of it.:slight_frown:

I seriously hope they get the message and bring it back, if not in 2014 then soon after that.

Is Victory doing away with bottling their lager? Not trying to start a rumor, but I don't see it on the calendar.
