I'm just making the BS argument certain traders from certain other regions love to use to devalue most all Bruery related goodness. I just find it all so funny.

Chocolate Rain...some stay dry and others feel the pain.

But seriously, Reserve Society is a no brainer if you're a Bruery fan. $300 bucks for 9 bottles of $30+ beer, plus a growler/bag, plus glassware, plus 15% off everything including tasting room stuff, plus special growler fills...\

If they're charging $50 for a bottle, might as well just get a preservation society membership (or two).

There are quite a few places that are right by the Bruery itself selling reserve society beers. I think if it was such a big deal to them those places would have already stopped selling them.

I dont really mind 3rd party sales, i find it funny as they are wasting their time in that they could make more more money faster picking up aluminum cans.

Best damn beer shop is one of best ran bottle shops in all of San Diego. What's the point of this thread exactly? He bought a beer at 30+5 shipping so 35 and selling it at 50 that's a standard mark up of 30%, also I know for sure the owners of the bruery don't mind . Anyway just my 2 cents if you don't like the price of a beer don't buy it many people will be excited that it's even available . You guys shouldn't go around slandering great bottle shops.

If there are 3rd party sales of CR or GM, how are those considered society exclusives? Seems to go against the exclusivity bolstered by The Bruery. Should I tell my trustee to be on the lookout for some Mocha Wednesday at a store near him?

there will always be 3rd party sales of all beers what's the difference if it's in a store or on an online forum etc?

If you buy from Freddy, he'll sell you one for 59.99 as long as you buy 11 more bottles and have it shipped! What a swell deal.

It doesn't really bother me personally, but the reason it's against the law is because the 3tier distribution system/licensing/state laws/etc. is set up for fair competition.

It doesn't matter to most of us, but if you were the (law abiding) owner of a bottle shop across the street, should you be at the disadvantage, or have to real the law to even the playing field?

As I said, I'm not taking a side, but this is the explanation I've heard from legit shop owners that I'm friendly with, and don't like their competitors cheating. Of course the Bruery or other breweries wouldn't mind essentially a wholesale transaction but at retail prices to the shops.
