I'm in Rochester - plenty of Old Ho around right now, but I was curious about how the Oak Horizontal availability would be. The rumor is that we'll be getting White Monkey soon, but Oak Horizontal isn't going to happen (at least not until the next go around in a year or so)

Wow, that's really surprising, thanks for the info Rich.

FBGS, I'm sure you've had Stoudts Gold, that's one hell of a Helles that I like more than Victory Lager.

I do love me some Stoudts Gold. My friends also drink the Gold Lager and we have noticed that we haven't seen any fresh cases in close to a year. The local case distributes just don't seem to keep it fresh in stock. I saw a case last month bottled in 2011.

On a more positive note I have noticed an explosion of Stoudts Gold on draft locally. I surmise that Stoudts has realized they sell more Gold on draft than bottles and have just went with it.

And on the most positive note of all I was at the beer store yesterday and they had a bunch of Victory Lager in stock. The case I purchased was best by April 21st 2014.

Rich, do you know if they'll be selling kegs of the lager at the gift shop? It's been so good lately, I'd hate to not be able to purchase it

Can anyone tell me more details regarding the White Monkey? I've had it before but just at a tasting with friends. Would love to be able to get my hands on a bottle of my own, and I see on that chart that there will be some in February --

It was/is definitely on shelves in Southeastern PA. It's now in 22 oz bottles, not six packs.

Hope WildDevil is for real, as Victory is basically in my backyard

If you don't live near the brewery, I'm sure it would show up at any bottle shops that normally carry Victory large format bottles. I still see Red Thunder on the shelves, so I would assume those same shops.

WildDevil sounds awesome. But definitely bummed that Moonglow is gone, Hop Wallop goes without saying and Yakima Glory. Breweries have to make changes to keep things interesting, but it seems like there are a TON of new beers this year.

VL is available at the retail store. I believe both cases and sixtels/halfs are in stock. BTW, if you like Moonglow, there are five sixtels available.....crazy!

It had better be. I plan on buying a bunch of it and aging some of it a few months to let that Brett really work!

Keith, I still have four 2005 bottles. Had one about six months ago. It's still alive and getting better!

Awesome report Richard. I think the last time I had it I aged it 9 months and it was fantastic. There is a fine line with the hops and the brett. I want it hoppy but I want the brett to really come out too. I love that beer.

I hope you're right. Hop Wallop was one of my favorite DIPA's and I was sad to see it taken out of the lineup. Dirtwolf, while still very good, did not live up to expectations for me. Grabbed my first Hop Ranch last night, can't wait to try it.

Hop Wallop's made an (I'd imagine) brief return to the taps... have had a few growlers in the last few weeks...
