What's the price point on Darkness usually? Likely gonna sit this one out...I'm sure it will be very difficult to find.

In the Twin Cities it ranged from $19 to $30, average at reasonable stores was from about $22 to $25.

@ Binny's Chicago? My head says 24.99 / bottle but my gut says 29.99. I hope my head is right (for once).

How much are people willing to pay for Darkness in Chicagoland? I think $25 a bottle seems a bit steep (include the tax) for a bottle.

Oh...Surly opened a cask of Pappy-aged Darkness (15yr) at their taproom yesterday. Cashed in under two hours. Heard it was phenomenal.

Doesn't matter if it's $25 or $30, IMO people will pay for it and it will be gone before you know it.

It's $20 on Darkness Day. You gotta expect roughly $25 after tax around Chicago.

It will no doubt be gone in seconds at $30. $20 would be a bargain imho.
I think most, but not all, would pay $40 for it.

Any word on if Abrasive will end up making its way here?

Well if I do find a bottle on the shelf, I'll buy it probably without even looking at the price. Which means I can finally crack open The Darkness I got via trade. Excited to finally try it.

Multiple Binny's on twitter have said Darkness release on Monday morning at 9AM. Not sure if that's the Binny's company line or not. Downers Grove said they got a pretty good amount of it. No mentions yet of limits. I'd guess one per person, but it may depend on how many folks can actually line up at a Binny's on a Monday at 9AM.

Thanks! This was right in my neighborhood. Picked up a bottle at $23. Brewery release was $20.
