Quick point of clarification: I believe how we are determining last place (lowest number of boxed checked, then lowest total number of runs) is not the way the website sorts the teams. By my count the Cubs have scored 103 runs and the Reds have scored 111 runs. The website currently ranks the reds as last.

I'm not really sure how the website ranks teams. I think it has something to do with the total number of runs scored and the total number of games played (in addition to the number of boxes checked). Minnesota, having only played in 28 games, has the lowest number of total runs with 95, followed by washington with 96. Not sure if we also need to take into account number of games played?

I'm glad you said that...cuz, the last time you mentioned who had the seemingly the best shot, ya jinxed that team

earlier you had mentioned that the Sox had the best look as they had the high scores canceled out...and thus, we went on a bit of a slump... that's ok, i hold nothing personal....

Just to clear up the concerns about who gets last place...I had offered to send dead last place a box and bigaltemple said he would send a box to the person who scored the same amount of runs the most times. This was just done as something extra for everyone involved and wasn't part of the original BiF.

So here's how it will all be decided...

For dead last place and a box from me, if it's a tie between two or more teams, the team with the lowest amount of total runs scored is dead last, regardless of games played. At this point in the season their may be a game or even two difference but let's not fuss over it. I'm unsure of how the website ranks everyone exactly, but that's how I'll decide it.

As for who gets a box from bigaltemple for the most runs scored of a single number, the winner of that distinction will be the lowest single number if there is a tie. If I have 9x 10 runs and libbey has 9x 2 runs, libbey wins that box. And yes, I used libbey "the king of "like's" in this thread" so he would "like" my post.

I'm pretty sure the ranking of teams in the pool is just a listing of the member names alphabetically aligned with numbers ticked.

Are we all sending beer to the person who 'comes in last'? Or was this a side bet?? Just wondering lol?

Oh ok. No, I'll just be sending the person who comes in last place a box. Only the winner will get a box from everybody.
