    I bought some the other day and wasn't too impressed. Glad to see Lakefront coming out with bigger beers though!

    Ehhh....not really sure that answers the question though. I think it would be best to compare Chad with the newest vintage Of Beer Line and then make a comparison. The bottle of Beer Line in the article is 10(?) years old.

    Or today. If you grab a bottle of Chad (I'm pretty sure you can find one still around at a quirky spot) and compare to the Beer Line that was just released. Just not sure if the Beer Line fro m 10-ish years ago was the same recipe as the present version.

    Trust me when I say Chad and Beerline are not the same recipe. Very similar but not the same.

    Fair enough...but is today's Beer Line the same as Beer Line from 10 years ago?

    Asked about it today and the distributors don't have an answer yet. Hopefully soon, but no real timeline on it.

    I was sadly disappointed with this one, and I generally enjoy barleywines.

    Cheers to Lakefront for branching out (somewhat) lately though. Just took the tour yet again yesterday.
