Are you sure about that? A bunch of cases of it landed here in MD yesterday. Coulda sworn they were 12 ouncers. Oak Horizontal 750s hit too. Would be pretty strange to have White monkey 6-packs and Old Horizontal in 22's.

I used to like Stoudts Gold, but the last couple times I've had it, all I taste is diacetyl.

I really liked it quite a bit. Baltic Thunder is a little thin for a Baltic Porter, and I think that the Red Wine barrels add an interesting component that actually elevates the base beer.

Agree Morey, really liked the dynamic the barrels introduced to this one

^So strange to have Oak Horizontal 750's, Old Horizontal 22's, and then 6-packs of White Monkey. Like, that doesnt even make sense. I believe you, it's just.. Who does that?! WTF Victory?

Who said anything about White Monkey being in 6 packs? Oak Horizontal and White Monkey (and Golden Monkey for that matter) are available in 750s. Golden Monkey as always, is in 6 packs. Old Horizontal is in 22 oz bottles, but I wish it was in 4 packs instead (the best we can hope for these days, I suppose)

victory used to be a really solid brewery.

now after these new tweaks, they're a fucking amazing brewery. p.s. I like the BA beers they make, though I know I'm in the minority opinion on that one. red thunder was excellent.

I meant Golden Monkey, not White. The only way that line up makes any sense is if Old Horizontal 22s are priced at $5.

I recall seeing that it was 'late February', fwiw... so the re-release should be any time now...

i'd say oak horizontal is just a bit off quality to price -wise. relative to how well they do with pale ales and the value of their other 6packs, i'd say they should maybe pack it in regarding barrel aging. i really liked the BA storm king, but i wouldn't pay what they apparently have to charge.

What's the new packaging look like? I haven't seen it out and about yet.

Any solid news on the Victory Lager? I did notice recently there seems to be a HUGE push for it (local stores around me who never carried it before suddenly are) and there are many ways that this can be looked at. I'd hate to see it go and it is one of my regular go to beers and a great buy for when you have a mixed crowd.

Sly Fox's and Stoudts' are up there too but I'd still rather have the option of VL being in the mix as well.

Victory doesn't distribute the Lager down here. This is annoying to me. I've always wanted to try it. Neither does Stoudts. What's the deal PA? We're right below you. Hook it up.

Not wanting to create a thread to ask this, but has Moving Parts been released yet? Release calendar says May and I believe this first batch (MP01) will have a mix of US, UK and (German or Czech?) whole-flower hops with two row malt.
