Surly Coming back to Chicago?

The news I heard was that it would be made available Monday, the Des Plaines Binny's got their allotment in today, but can't sell it until then. Should be enough to go around.

Also for those of you in Evanston (or thereabouts) World of Beer will have Darkness on tap shortly (most likely after that Monday).

 

The 20th as release date was set by Surly, FYI.

 

Beer temple tweeted earlier today that they had it in, most likely it's gone now but worth giving a call

 

Don't know if this was posted yet but in case anyone was wondering Darkness is going for $21.99 at Binnys.

So The binnys guy said this is a new batch brewed exclusively for Chicago, did anyone else hear that?

 

I'm at work and I have bottles from Darkness Day so I will not be on the hunt for this. Not sure about any lines forming

My friend just left a Binnys and said the same thing, No line and 1 bottle limit. Said they had 10 cases.

 

No, we are getting more in Minneapolis today as well.

 

2 bottle limit at Orland Park Binnys and they sold out in 22 minuets

 

Not only are there no lines, but there was no one around out at St. Charles Binny's. I'm surprised the limit was 1. My buddy and I got there at 9:05 and there was 1 other person in the entire store. I'm sure they'll sell some throughout the day and more after 5, but it might last another day or so. Can't beat $22.

Yes, it is a new batch. The bottles were dipped a week and a half ago.

 

1 bottle limit at Naperville and Plainfield. 2 bottle limit at Bolingbrook. Nobody at Naperville or Plainfield. Not sure about the Brook tho. All reporterd from my friend who was out and about this morning. Looks like these bottles should be around at least until this evening (except Orland I guess).

 

Bolingbrook already posted on Twitter that they were out.
